We work with the homeowner to produce home plans they want and then follow it through to the construction of the home. Line up subcontractors where needed to complete the project. View some of our projects here »

We can build beautiful and functional garages that are attached or unattached to your home or building structure.

Interior or Exterior Refresh
Give your home a facelift inside or out – or both. With exterior remodels, we can do new windows, doors, siding, soffit and fascia, and decks. Heading inside, an interior remodel could include new cabinets, countertops, flooring, or adding to your existing space with an addition.

Get to know us!
about us
Troy Woehl is the owner and founder of Woehl Construction and has been building his expertise and experience since 1990.
Troy began in the construction field as a laborer for Jim Franzen Construction in 1990. He attended Southeast Tech and received an A.S. degree in Building Trades.
After several years of working for local Aberdeen contractors, he ventured out on his own opening Woehl Construction in 1998. In 2003, his team completed its first custom home – and kept on going. In the first 26 years of business, they’ve built 40 homes and completed countless other projects. In 2009, one of these homes won several awards, including Best Floor Plan and Best in Show, in the Aberdeen Homebuilders Association’s Parade of Homes. Woehl Construction was featured in Aberdeen Magazine in 2018 talking about the company’s trusted reputation and long-standing work in and around Aberdeen. Check out the article here »
In 2001, he added his most tenured employee James Bowman who has been an integral part of the team for over 20 years. Andrew Woehl has worked full-time since 2020. He is currently getting his degree in Construction Management and will return full-time in the Spring of 2025.
Woehl Construction is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Aberdeen Home Builders Association, and the National Association of Home Builders.

Troy has been married to his wife Becki for nearly 30 years and have three kids – Emma, Allie, and Andrew. Troy has enjoyed supporting all three kids in their school activities and club sports. He most recently served as the Board President to the Aberdeen Hardball Association.
